Thai Style Steamed Otah


Using our homemade Otah Paste:

Mackerel Fish/Prawn paste 200g

Mackerel/Prawn 200-250g (cut into chunky pieces)

Fish sauce ½ tbsp

Eggs 2

Rice flour 1½-2 tbsp (optional)

Coconut cream 300ml

Otah paste 1 pack (300g)


1) In a big mixing bowl, add in all the above ingredients and mix well together.

2) Pour into a baking dish or an aluminium foil tray and steam for 45mins-1hr. Steaming time depends on how deep the dish/tray is.

3) Serve with white rice or eat with bread as a sandwich filling.
